The orange Jalapeno is virtually impossible to find so we jumped on the occasion to get seeds from a trusted supplier. Although we haven't grown it ourselves (yet!) we have been able to gather a few facts about this chilli that, as its name indicates, is part of the globally known Jalapeno variety.

Interestingly, we have heard of a lot of people using the orange jalapeno either fresh in salads or on top of pizzas but also to flavour drinks! Indeed, this is a fruitier pod than its green or purple  counterparts and blends in well with sweet drinks that are vodka, tequila or rum-based, especially thanks to its mild to medium heat.  

The plant is very prolific and gives a continuous crop of the archetypical 3 inch long Jalapeno, with thick walls and rounded tips.
