The Royal Black chilli plant bears its name well. Whilst growing it develops a deep purple, almost black dense foliage with dark blue veins running under the leaves. When the flowers come up they usually are a mix of creamy white in the centre and dark purple on the outer edge, making a dramatic contrast.

Then the dark purple bullet shaped medium hot chilli peppers start showing and grow upright until gravity takes its toll and the final deep red colour sets in. Overall this is a great chilli plant to have in your home or garden and enjoy throughout the season.
