The Golden Cayenne is a chilli pepper that you are bound to find in most supermarkets these days but like anything, it is in much better condition and quality when freshly picked off the plant.  The plant grows up to about 80 cm tall and produces so many pods you are unlikely to run out anytime soon!

The Golden cayenne is slightly peppery which is why we love using it in stir fries or pickle it to last us through winter months.
